Junk Removal Fells Point
Junk Removal in
Fells Point
One of the oldest maritime districts in the country — cobblestone streets, 18th-century rowhouses, and converted brick warehouses off Thames and Broadway. The catch is access: no curb, tight one-ways, and a sidewalk that belongs to the bars and the tourists. We load out of a Fells Point rowhouse without blocking the block — flat photo-quoted, the carry to the alley already in the price.
Loaded out of the cobblestones without blocking the block
Fells Point isn't laid out for a moving truck, let alone one that has to idle while a couch comes down. The historic core — Bond Street, Ann Street, the Thames Street waterfront — is cobblestone, one-way, and permit-parked, and the 18th-century rowhouses put their front doors flush on the sidewalk with no setback and no curb. Add the converted warehouse condos and the constant bar-and-restaurant foot traffic and you get the tightest loading conditions in Southeast Baltimore. That's exactly the problem we solve: our crews know these blocks, stage against a single tight point, and run the load out in a fast relay to the rear alley or courtyard so we're never sitting across the one-way. Nobody in the neighborhood is stuck behind us, and nothing gets dragged to a curb that doesn't exist.
The price works the same way it does everywhere else in the city — send a photo, get one flat number that already covers the labor, the truck, the tip fee, and the drive. No "call for an estimate," no hourly meter, no add-on the day of. Because Fells Point is central to our Southeast routes, same-day pickup is usually on the table.
What we clear in Fells Point
- Historic-rowhouse cleanouts — full move-outs and basement clear-outs in the 18th- and 19th-century rows, carried up the narrow interior stairs and out to the alley.
- Converted-warehouse condo turnover — the brick loft conversions off Thames and Aliceanna, whole-unit clears between tenants and owners.
- Restaurant & bar clear-outs — FF&E from a closing or remodeling kitchen: booths, tables, coolers, prep equipment and back-of-house junk, timed around closed hours.
- Single heavy pieces — a sleeper sofa, an upright piano, a chest freezer, brought down from an upper floor without scarring the stairwell.
- Appliances — fridges, washers, and dryers, with freon recovered and documented where required.

Does Baltimore pick up bulk trash in Fells Point?
It does — barely. Baltimore City DPW runs a by-appointment bulk-trash program you schedule through 311, but it's capped at three items a month, on one Saturday, curbside only. In a rowhouse district with no curb, "curbside" already means dragging your old sofa across the cobblestones and leaving it on a bar block until Saturday — and three items doesn't touch a real move-out or a basement full of decades. That's the gap we fill: same-day, full-service, more than three items, and carried out of the unit instead of staged on the sidewalk. If you only need the city's free option, the DPW bulk line is the place to start; if you need it gone today and gone right, that's us.
Where it goes after we load it
Fells Point's rows and lofts turn over usable furniture constantly, and we'd rather not landfill it. Sound pieces go to Goodwill of the Chesapeake, The Salvation Army, the Habitat for Humanity Chesapeake ReStore, or St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore; mattresses and metal get recycled where there's a stream for them; and the rest goes to the city transfer station. On an estate or restaurant clear-out we can leave you a donation receipt for what's given away.
What Fells Point customers say
"Cleared my rowhouse on a Bond Street cobblestone block and I was sure they'd end up blocking the whole one-way. They didn't — quick relay to the alley, never held up a car. Flat price from a photo, done in an afternoon."
"Turned over a warehouse-loft condo off Thames between tenants. They carried a sleeper sofa and a fridge down the freight stairs, donation-routed the good stuff, one flat number. Zero drama with the building."
"Gutted the back of my restaurant during the remodel — old booths, a walk-in shelf, a pile of prep junk. They came after close so we never fought the crowd. Fair flat price and gone in one trip."
